In need of springs?
« on: January 27, 2003, 05:26:45 PM »
I have an older model Dan Wesson 357 (15-2VH8). The trigger return spring broke and I have been unable to find a new one. I made one with Brownell's spring wire but the gun locks up in double action with rounds loaded in the cylinder. I think the spring I made is too weak and I would like to make this fine revolver work again. Any ideas?

Have you tried contacting Dan Wesson Firearms?  www.danwessonfirearms.com

They should have parts for even the older revolvers.

There have been several spring kits offered on ebay lately. Just do a search for "Dan Wesson"  I may be getting one myself just as a spare.
