I finally got around to converting the 32" 12ga bbl that I shoot for trap to extractor. It is very interesting, as the extractor bar still "clicks" on opening, but with the step ground off as you show in your previous posts, it comes out sooner during the opening stroke so the shell hits the breech face before coming completely open.
