I didn't. Some time ago, before GB moved us over to this distinguished address, a poster asked about tang sights for muzzleloaders. I wrote back describing the type of sight I thought he meant (it was the type with a finely-threaded stem, which went into a corresponding hole in the tang. Elevation was accomplished by turning the whole sight in or out; with the disc and peephole soldered/welded to the top, you had two positions that you could use. Some were more sophisticated than that, but this was the basic scheme. It was described by Ned Roberts.), adding that Dixie no longer listed them. He wrote back with a gunsmith's name and address, WHICH I NEGLECTED TO WRITE DOWN! @#*%&#$! The name was Jamey-something, and the address was in Union City, Tenn. Can anybody help?

I didn't see the original post but what you're describing sounds like a "swiss" type tang sight.

Here's places that have them:

Charlie, try Jamey at Dixie Gunworks.  They're in Union City, TN, and he is their top gun guy.  He's also a gun builder of fine repute.

Thanks for the help, guys...I'll check 'em out.
On another note...notice the website above for DGW; it looked a little strange to me, so I used the site I had in my "Favorites" file:
http://www.dixiegun.com/,
and it gave me the same page...Interesting. I wonder how many other sites do something like that? It's probably done with some kind of "redirect" programming.

Alot of companys began registering all the variations of their names so someone could not create sites that spoof them. They even register variations like www.whateverthecompany.sucks.com.

If I remember correctly someone used to spoof PETA that way.
