Suicides alter gun purchases

A York Wal-Mart changes its sales policy after two W&M students killed themselves with its shotguns.

WILLIAMSBURG -- The suicides of two College of William and Mary students with shotguns purchased recently at Wal-Mart has prompted a York Wal-Mart, where one of the guns was bought, to alter the way it sells guns to young adults.

Yeah, and Ford dealers should ask all young men who buy a Mustang, "Do you intend to excede the speed limit?"  "Do you ever drink before driving?"

Walmart is going to ask a young man, "Do you intend to stick this thing in your mouth and pull the trigger?"  The young man is going to say, "Gee, I never thought about that, can I still buy it?"   Or, maybe, "Yeah.  Do you have one with a shorter barrel so I can reach the trigger with my finger instead of my toe?"
