Hartford Armory revolvers
« on: April 27, 2005, 06:13:19 AM »
I'm interested to learn if anyone here has experienced the Remington 1875 or 1890 models in 44 special/magnum. The word is that they are supposed to be able to handle the hotter loads but has anyone actually done it? What's the verdict? :noway:  :agree:

The Hartford Armory office and retail location is right next door, same building actually, as my fly fishing shop - www.quietsportsct.com - here in Collinsville CT.  I haven't got the extra cash to buy one of Larrys revolvers yet but would sure like to.  Built here in Connecticut on CNC machines so the tollerences are much better than the originals, modern steel etc. chamber walls are thicker even than a Ruger, lock up like a bank vault. To answer your question, no I haven't shot one yet, but talk to several of his customers that have and they are very pleased with there revolvers. He also sells 1800's era clothing and accessories.
