I see that +P brass is a bit more expensive than regular brass.  What is the difference between the two?  Is it made to thicker dimensions, to take the extra pressure, or is the only difference the additional "+P" mark on the rim label? Can +P brass be used with regular loads? Any help would be great.

The only difference I have found is in the headstamp, and I haven't found any difference in price either.

The +P" mark is to let the shooter know he is shooting +P loads. There is not difference.  :D

Winchester says their +P brass is heavier or thicker. They say for this reason that you should reduce the powder charge a bit and work up. I am speaking here of 257 Roberts +P brass. Is is sturdier thicker brass. I read that in the Hornady Manual for data on the 257 Roberts. I think all +P brass is made thicker.
