I need to get a scope for my 10/22. I'm looking at the Weaver classic rimfire 4x. Any input is welcome. Dave :D

I have a Weaver R4 rimfire scope (on the stainless 10/22) that's about 5yrs old. If we are talking about the same scope, it's a real good one. Seems to me it was about $90 back then. It has Japanese optics, and if you know anything about optics, the Japanese make the best. They've had lots of experience with camera making!

It's a good one.

I've got a Simmons 22MAG on my 10/22's...It's a great scope for $40!
