What other kinds of tweaks can be made to an H&R/NEF rifle? things other than the O-ring or Loc-tite.

No offence here....I am real reluctent to start giving out any information to modify any firearm to someone  to someone 16 years old...without first talking to that persons  parents or legal guardian... I will say...any modifications you do to them...other than the o-ring or opening up the barrel channel will void any factory warrenty on it...

I can say that when firing them...place the rifle at or near the hinge pin to rest it...and pull all the way thru with the trigger...that should help your groups alot...and what most folks wind up doing...if the rifle still doesn't group. try a different ammo...and if it still doesn't group.....have your folks call NEF for you and talk to the great folks in the Customer Service department...

No...not really...no-one said you was un-trustworthy...but a Minor...one that needs his/her parent or legal gaurdian to do many things for them...and I sure as heck wouldn't want someone I didn't know trying to teach anyone of my kids something about firearms without my permission....and I'm sure your parents can appreciate that little fact...even though you don't at this age...and I'll tell you one more thing...and you have probably heard it before... if when you have children of your own...hopefully you'll understand why I am reluctant to do this...
