Imported ammo

Hey out there,
Have any of you folks used any of the steel ammo coming out of Russa. I see Cheaper then Dirt has this stuff. They make sure you see that there is a no return policy. I have seen a few people use the hand gun ammo for IDPA but I wanted to get some cheap 223 to play around with my Mini 14. If it works ok I would think it may be cheaper by the 1000. I don't want to get that much if I have to always be clearing a jam. What's the word. Is there any better prices out there then Cheaper then Dirt??? Please advise.
  Have fun,

If you mean Wolf ammo, DON'T!  Dad and I bought 1000 rnds of .223 for cheap shooting. Dad got off abou 20 shots before his Savage jammed; I shot 12 more before one jammed in my Handi rifle. In both cases it took a ramrod and ALOT of pushing (the ramrod bent and the handle broke) to get the brass out of our rifles.

I agree on the Wolf, It's the only ammo I've ever seen that would jam up an AR-15. Stuck the base of the case above the bolt as it tried to close. I couldn't even figure out how it could do that. But it did, to two diferent AR's.   KN
