Winchester White Box .223 45 grain JHP
« on: April 29, 2005, 10:28:39 AM »
This may be a dumb question...but I've seen the Winchester "white box" .223 45 grain JHP ammo in boxes of 50, and in boxes of 40.  The 50 round boxes are labelled "50 Round Value Pack" and are packed in the box without any additional material.  The 40 round boxes are labelled "Varmint High Velocity 3600 FPS" and are packed in the box in some foam holders.

I'm assuming that these two packages contain the exact same round and that it's just a marketing scheme by Winchester...is that correct?

Thanks

Same stuff, shoot identical for me. The 40 round box sells for $13 and the 50 round box sells for $14 or $15.
