Boyds stocks

I was checking out boyds stocks on there site an there laminated stock for the contender looks real good ,can anybody fill me in on these stocks are they a quality product , inletted properly and how would you go about finishing them

They make a good product, I bought a set of the nutmeg laminate ones about 4 yrs ago, well made and fit well. Mine where completely finished and fully inletted.  The contour of the stock at that time was the same as the t/c factory stock which I have never liked so that is my only gripe.

pinkerton thanks for the info , I have a catalog coming , called them and they said they are making a thunhole stock for the contender also!! not G-2

I purchased a set of stocks from the folks at Gunstocks Inc. and found they were good quality, excellant workmanship and they have a better selection of styles, after I got the first set done I sold all the boyds stocks that were on my guns and got more from Gunstocks Inc., their Stiger stock is the ultimate thumbhole stock for the T/C guns but thats just my opinion.
