Which one of these do you reccomend? Whaich ones to avoid? I see they start about $500 on average. Thanks-Jack.

to be honest slayer that's not really enough info to base an opinion on,,however, their is a group out there that really love those period of guns. it's called the North-South Scirmish Assosiation. Those guys know civil war era up and down!

I don't have the link handy but, you do a web search for NSSA and find their site you will find a link to their message board, it's huge! you'll find a bunch of gent's willing to help. Don't forget to read the "archives" a bit before you ask,, your answer could have been posted just days before you asked it

Thanks man, I will check that out!! Yes, I know of the Enfield also, 2 band and 3 band. I don`t want a cheap quality one, something mid to upper range would be good, but under $1000. Thanks-Jack.
