atc encore barrel for out west huntinh

 hhhi i was thinking about getting a 375 h&h mag barrel for my encore.
 I be hunting elk and mule deer. Would a 375 h&h mag or a 300 win mag
do the job or something eles? thanks    wck

Why on earth do you want such a large caliber to hunt Deer and Elk with???

I switched out years ago from a 30-06 to a 25-06 and the punishment at trigger time has been much LESS, shooting time & rounds went WAY UP and my accuracy and capability went through the roof.

Some folks can take the kick of the "big-uns" and some can't.....more power to ya if ya can I suppose.

I use a 300 win mag for both OR now a 308 postol.
Some of the shots get to be over 300 yards .
