I've probably shot mine longer than most! In the UK we have matches out to 1200 yards!!

27 years for me. Started out with a cva .45.  I Only like authentic historically correct muzzle loaders now. My next one is going to be a bronze barrelled blunderbuss. Oh for a fatter wallet !!!!!!!

I'm still a newbie.
I got my first cap & ball revolver in December of 2001. It was a Pietta 1858 Remington .44. I liked it better than I thought I would. In January of '03 I got a Lyman Great Plains percussion rifle in .50 and in Feb. of last year I got a Pietta 1860 Colt Army .44.
Eventually I want to add a .58 cal. rifled musket (probably a Zouave or Enfield), some kind of longrifle, a 12 gauge SXS shotgun, 1851 Colt Navy and/or a Colt Dragoon repro.
I'm only interested in traditional muzzleloaders.

I've been shooting muzzle loaders since 1978.  I started out with a .45 CVA Kentucky Rifle kit I made, and a .36 cal cheapo brass framed Colt Navy.
My favorite rifle now is the Lyman GP in .54 and currently I am in the resurrection of my interest in percussion revolvers.  My new Uberti .44 Colt Army is an outstanding piece, well made and very accurate.  The quality as compared to that old cheopo .36 is no comparison.  The percussion revolver bug has infected me big time.  What a blast!  I would love to get a custom-semi custom flint lock and I am looking into a TVM.  Don't you just love the smell of black powder?  My wife thinks I am a nut.

Seriously about as long as you, 3 years last Christmas. I did have one of the .22 caliber turret loaders for the kids as long ago as '71 or '72. Then my youngest bought me a CVA Bobcat for a present. He spent $60 on the rifle and I spent $100 on the possibles.
Since then I bought an old Numrich H&A buggy rifle in .36 for killin' pasture griz.   It's a lot of fun.
