Remington 760 question

Can any body pls tell me if i can put a .308 barrel on my 760 chambered in 30.06? Thanks.

You should be able to, subject of course to heaadspace checks and a magazine change.  Don't believe there are any parts that are caliber specific other than barrel and magazine.

Thanks for the input gunnut, thats kinda what i thought- just wanted to hear it from someone smarter at such matters than i.
