30-30 range report it's a keeper

Shot the 30-30 I got for Mac Fri. & its a shooter. Winchester 150 factory 1 in to 1.5 in group & rem 150's about the same. That was on a windy Oklahoma day(not often it isn't) north wind to boot. The winchester Canadian Centenial with a 20 in octagon barrel got abot 2.5 in group with open sights, need to peep it perty gun anyhow need to work up some loads for the handy in some lighter slugs & down load them for the boy

Glad it's shooting good for ya...time to work up some cast loads and see how they do...

I think I will try & work up a youth load with 130 spire point or some 125 nos bt’s.
Theses are readily available here but I will look at some cast loads in the near future hopefully some leg work has been done by other members here so I will have a place to start looking at handi data. Thanks again Mac & if anyone has any reduced load info in the 125 130 gr range feel free to post or pm the info to me, always open to sugestions
