Here is a question that has probably been asked before, but here goes anyway.
Will I get expansion in a 180gr. XTP out of a 5-1/2" barrel in 44 Special? But here is the twist, I'm shooting it out of a Freedom Arms revolver and using Power Pistol powder. I've worked up the load in this gun. It's probably a 44Spl. +P+. But no where near 44Mag Load. I estimate the speed at around 1100 to 1200 fps.
But I don't know the velocities at which the XTP bullet will expand.
