32 short rimfire cartridges in original box (old)

I'm trying to find out what these cartridges are worth or maybe how old.
Anything you can tell me about them.
I may decide to sell.
50cartridges in the box,
remington arms- union metallic cartridge company
.32 short 80 grain
union metallic cartridge works Bridgeport Conn.
The bullet casing has the U head stamp

All Rem-UMC cartridge marked boxes date to post 1912, when the two companies merged. If you can give me a description of the box, I might give you some idea of the time it was produced. Value will depend on the condition of the box and cartridges, plus the year of mfg.

Sorry so late,,the box is mostly re with yellowish plaid around the edge.
It reads.

there is a picture of the bullet in the center with U head stamp and 32 short on the brass, to the left is a yellow circle with remington, then UMC under that, both in the circle.
To the right of the bullet pic. it says 80 GRS.

They are black powder rounds.
The box has been covered in scotch tape and is90% legible, just the bottom there is a few spots you can't read, the bottom reads of the guarantee
I do have some pics or can take more if this isn't enough.

Thanks for all the details on your .32 RF ammo. From the description I would guess they are from just before, or just after WWI. The tape on the box will detract quite a bit from it's value, but still the ammo and remaining box are desireable, as they are intact. I see similar boxes of ammo sell for between $50-$100, and it depends on who's buying it, or where it's sold, as to what it will get. Wish I could narrow it down closer for you, but it's not that clear cut.

Lickey I bought a box of 25 rimfire at the Tulsa gunshow this past spring un-opened like new for $60.00 I would guess the 32 rimfire to be about the same if the box was like new, with the tape on it will be a little less.  JIM
