What can anyone tell me about the 375 Taylor,  aka 375/338 :D

The .375 Taylor vs. the .375 H&H is the same deal as the .416 Taylor vs. .416 Rigby. It is a wildcat round that was designed to fit a standard length action. The Taylor cartridges come close to the ballistics of the full length magnums by operating at higher pressures.

You can get load data at http://www.geocities.com/bw_99835/ and clicking on the "Reloading Data" link on the left side of the page then scrolling down to where it says "Other Data".  My son was going to build a .416 Taylor but opted for the .416 Rigby instead due to it being a much more versatile cartridge reloading wise(wider power range than either the Taylor or the Remington).  Lawdog
