Wal Mart-H&R BC and Target Rifles-Price Changes
« on: May 06, 2005, 12:41:23 PM »
I bought my new BC from Wally World for $286.99 a week ago and someone here just tried to order a BC recently and WM said they were out at there supplier and the Target is out also. Well, I got really lucky and got my new BC for $286.99 as WM just raised the gun $26 to $312.99. Still a good price, but I guess it was inevitable. Actually both models are now raised the higher prices. Just wanted to give you give you guys a heads up, so when you go to the WM ordering site, you will notice the raised prices. What is weird is, my first one was returned, luckily for me the 2nd one was right on!! I would have probably gotten the lower price, but would have waited some time for another one. Jack.

Confirmed :) I imagine Wal-Mart has figured out they can make more, or NEF has raised their prices to the distributors, or the Distributors have raised their prices to the Wal-Mart or any store for that matter. Well, if NEF is raising their prices, at least put that money back into fixing some of the quirks that the guns have, as in put it back into the production quality, machining and what have you :D Jack.

Yep, just looked. The wood handi $199 and the Synthetic $214, now that is a good jump in prices. The Stevens new Model 200 Bolt Action is going for about $250. Now I have a major decision on which one. The Stevens is Synthetic, so for a bolt action, I would think it is worth $36 more? Jack.

I just bought a BC from Walmart and the website said $312 but when I actually went to get it, it was 285.  The website said prices may vary.  I did not argue.

Heck no!! I took the printout in from the Wal-Mart site. Next gun, I may not do that, since they just raised the prices on the site!! Good buy bro. Jack.
