Well my 500th post is a celebration. I bought a 308 off Jeffery8mm he bought it off brokenarrow . Well I have not tried any other loads in this gun  but I just happen to have some 110 V-max laying around . So I put them under some IMR 4064 (not saying how much for sake of argument ) and my first three shot @ 50 yards where all touching!! At 100 yards they where just about 1 inch.  Well this was my first 6 shots from this load and I still have all me stuff out there on the bench so I’m going to go shoot some more just thought I would let you guys know how things are going.

  Imagine how well that would shoot if you put that 110gr Vmax "over that dose of IMR 4064. :D

  I am contemplating getting a 308 ultra. I'm hoping that my first .308 will be a good shooter.

  Glad your first shots show some promise.

Way to go mitchell....Keep up the good work :toast: It won't take a-lot to make it shoot good...the 308's are usually pretty accurate...
