Any thoughts on Ruger M77/22 heavy barrel for silhouette?

I got back into small bore silhouette rilfe last year after a long hiatus.
I have a Kimber HS for the Hunter category but I still need a Standard rifle.
Anschutz 54:18 is my first choice but they are back-ordered all the way to factory.
I'm tired of waiting so I am considering a Ruger M77/22, the heavy barrel with laminated stock.

Anyone have any experience with these?
Are they accurate?  reliable?
How are the triggers?
Are the triggers easily adjusted?
Would appreciate any replies.

Keep shooting the kimber in both classes.

Barry,
Kahuna is right, shoot the one rifle in both classes.  Using one rifle lets you learn faster, make fewer mistakes and is a lot cheaper......  My scores between hunter and standard is very little, many days they are the same.  My best score in the past year was with the hunter rifle.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but if your really looking for a 2nd rifle I'd look at a sako finnfire or Rem. 541. The Rem. may be harder to locate. Both have fast lock times and could be tricked out easily. I'm getting ready to do this very thing to my sako. Lilja .900 barrel and Mike Turner barracuda stock. All I need is a trigger job to approx. 8 oz. and I'm set. The finnfires are extremely easy to modify, great shooters too. Alot of silhoutte shooters like the 541's. If you could find one, JC Blauvelt has lots of experience and reasonable rates on accurizing.

Sorry, forgot  to metion the ruger reply. I'd stay away from the 77/22. They seem to vary widely in terms of accuracy. Lots of drop in aftermarket parts, but if you want to do this I'd go with a better action. I'd recommend a CZ anyday over a ruger.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
I agree there are advantages to being a one-gun guy.
And I started out many years ago with a Remington 541-S.
When I got back in, my wife wanted to shoot also.
So I gave her the 541 and had a gunsmith cut the stock down to fit her.
Then I got a Kimber HS for me.
I guess I really didn't know what I had with the 541.
Oh well.
The comments on the Ruger are very similar to what shooters around here think.
Not terribly accurate and klunky trigger as well.
I have thought about the Sako Finnfire Range (or Scout in US).
But I'm told the stock isn't legal.  
Would have to take some off the bottom of the forend so there's a step down to the trigger guard instead of being flush.
I'm beginning to think I should wait for Anschutz to make more 54:18s.
