Before it's pointed out, I know that this if for modern firearms. However, since all on this forum deal with Thompson Center, I thought you might want to hear about this:
I have a New Englander muzzleloader in .54 caliber. Took two deer with it last season. Outstandingly accurate rifle. Anyway, it had a synthetic stock (which I never really liked). Upon getting back to the house with the deer on the four wheeler, the rifle had been slung around my neck and shoulder. When I returned, the bottom of the stock was missing and the only thing showing was this hollow synthetic stock and some glue where the bottom used to be. This rifle has always been an outstanding performer for me and I was amazed to see the stock so.
I wrote T/C and sent the stock back. I asked them to please tell me how much I'd have to pay to upgrade to a wooden stock. I didn't hear from them for about a week. Today, I received this beautiful wood stock, appears to be walnut, via UPS and NO BILL. They did this for free. What a company!!! :agree:
Anyway, it would be great if other companies would take T/C's lead in customer service!!
