Aperture rear blade for new sights

Hey everyone,

I just got a new 44 barrel, and have the One Ragged Hole replacement blades, which happen to no longer fit the new sights I'm told.  Has anyone tried the midway aperture blades that supposedly fit the new handi sights?  Thanks,

Pistol pete, how are the new sights different? If you find you have no use for the One Ragged Hole sight blades you have I would be interested in buying them from you, all or one, whatever you may have. (It sounded as if you had more than one)....<><.... :grin:

Thanks quick, the picture is a little dark but it looks OK. What does MtJerry think about the new sights? Any thoughts yourself?....<><.... :grin:

I like them pretty well.  You will not be able to adjust them in the field, but they are easy to use.

The pin on the muzzle is a nice round bead that lines up well with the u-shaped notch.  I am going to keep shooting it this summer and give it some more time for my final decision.

If I don't like it, the leaf is dovetailed and I can replace it with an aperature sight.

Williams sights

So, I just sent my receiver in on Monday for a 45-70 barrel.  Is it gonna have the Williams sights or the Tracker style sights?  If it is the Williams, will the Williams Firesights fit the bases like on the pic in this post...MtJerry pic of 44mag?  Seems to me that the one hole blade that Midway has fo $7.99 would do the same as the ONE RAGGED HOLE.  Also, isn't the Williams rear base the same as on the BC.  I don't think I would mind that.  My bifocaled eyes like the BC sights.  
I was thinking of the ORH sight for my slug gun and 45-70 just because it looked cleaner than the Williams Peep.  I'm sure the ORH will work on the slug gun because it is older production run and will still have the old style sights.  Guess I will have to wait and see on the 45-70.  Thanks for all the info guys.
