How about a date and model on an old 9 in 252-30000Just says 99, no letters. it's hard to tell to tell what's on the lever boss,may be a E or F.

Any ideas/

Texgun :  The blue book shows the 1899 250-3000 mfg. 1914-21 but it was a take-down model, they also show a 99H in that cal. mfg.1923-40 then a 99E mfg. 1922-34 and we could go on and on :D    JIM
