Yeah, I've been wondering that, too.  I think it was MSP who said it only took a couple weeks on his 06.  Maybe not...my memory is like it used to be, anyway, I sent mine out on Sat. for 3 barrels and was wondering the same thing.  Getting anxious already.

Tallyho, I did a search and cut and pasted me recent response to turnaround time, here it is....

"Rich, I honestly don't remember!!! I don't think it was anything more than 4 weeks though, start to finish....<><....

OK Cookieman, I did some checking, I sent my receiver out on 3/29 ( my suggestion, USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, insurance is your call) and it was completed 4/15, just a shade over 2 weeks!!! Of course when I send them something USPS Priority Mail from here they get it the next day!!. I would expect (and hope) yours to take 3 weeks or less start to finish from the day you send it out. Best of Luck!!...<><.... "

Thanks MSP Ret, I appreciate your efforts.

I'm not getting impatient (yet - I just sent it a couple of hours ago - probably not even out of the Post Office yet!) just curious.

Something to look forward to ... like a birthday or something

Cheers

Follow up question: Anybody know if they are sending out cards upon receipt of receivers?

I've never received one, that's why I used some sort of delivery confirmation or tracking to provide me with a paper trail.

Kinda sounds like receipt cards from H&R might be considered collectors items!

Put yours in the classifieds and see what happens

i have about 13 barrels through the barrel accessory program. looking back through shipping records, the longest factory lead time was 28 calender days, the shortest was 15 calendar days.

not bad on the average !

Hey SG,

Glad you keep records like this...  8)

This is my first accessory barrel deal so whatever it comes back is going to be my average!

By the way, ain't 13 an unlucky number? Shouldn't you get a couple more (or sell a couple)??

Cheers

I sent my sons 20 gauge frame in to be fitted for a rifled barrel after deer hunting (thanksgiving). It came to my house via UPS noon on Christmas Eve to make a nice gift for him! He has already taken two deer with it (one during early hunt and one during regular season). Can't wait 'til next season.

I just recieved a reciever back that I sent in for a new 357 barrel. It was 15 days from the day I mailed it until the day the big brown truck made my day. :)  Not bad at all.
shot placement is everything.
