Is Magpro temp sensitive??
« on: May 15, 2005, 04:43:29 PM »
I have been leaning towards the Hodgdon extreme powders because of the temp insentitivity due to hunting areas that start out below freezing in the morning and working the way up to near 70 degrees in the afternoon. My experience has been that most ball powders show more temperature sensitivity than the stick powders. I am new to using this powder and have not tested it in extreme temp differences. I know that most powders don't show big velocity differences with temp variations.  But I have seen velocities change 100 fps using W760 thru the chrono when temp's change consequently changing my bullet groups. With Magpro being a ball powder does it exhibit non-sensitivity to temp?
