Coincidentally, until about a week ago, I only had a Hornady/Pacific trimmer like the one in the picture above. But I bought an RCBS Trim Pro off a friend, and it works like a champ. The adjustability of the thing, and the easy way it aligns cases with those shell plates is just fantastic for quick, accurate trimming of cases. It beats the Hornady entirely.....leaving no comparison to speak of.
I also use the Trim Pro 3-Way cutter he gave me with the setup for the .30 caliber. It might be a little bit of a challenge for some to set up, but it cuts down a lot on the work with the chamfering tool. I need only a quick chamfer on the inside of the case necks to get the results I want.
