I want to buy a .45 with accurazy, high mag. capasity, light trigger pull without creep.  Para-Ordnance or H&K? Or? Any suggestions?

Sverre:  The H&K sounds like the ticket, they rate very highly - the Para trigger system may take some getting used to, but they are also rated pretty highly.  I would see if I couldn't get the chance to fire a couple of examples at a range first - that's a pretty tough choice to try and make.  Mikey.

And then there are the SIGs which deserve consideration.

The USP is a great .45. I do not know if you care about weight, but, if not there are some others that might work out. The baby eagle is a good shooting .45. Alot of the Kimber .45 1911s have great triggers, but lack on the high cap., unless you go with the BP10-2, and I do not know if youll like the hand grip, although you may, Im not fond of it. Also I like the SIG P220, that is a nice .45.

Will this be a carry gun or target gun? Or both? I think your best triggers are going to be 1911s, a good Springfield, Colt, or Kimber will do fine. But, your best HIGH CAP. will be Glock, SIG, H&K, or even a CZ. While accurate guns on the other hand, are in the eye of the be holder, and the hand of the shooter. I know people that cant shoot a 1911 to save there life, but, are awesome with a DA Glock. I think you have to find what one you like/feels the best.

Yeah, what HouseofCash said!!! :toast:

I have no experience at all with Para-Ordnance or H&K pistols. I spent the last two months trying to figure out which 1911 to get. Picking out a 1911 is tough, specially for the "first timer" (for a 1911 that is)! I ended up going with the Smith & Wesson SW1911 over the Springfield "Loaded Pistol". It was almost a toss up. I liked the fit and finish of the SW1911 over the SA. I also like the "firing pin safety" on the SW1911, the SA didn't have one. All the Kimber pistols in my area were either smaller ones or had the "External Extractor" which I wasn't going to get a "KIMBER" with an "External Extractor". I have heard horror stories about Kimber's "External Extractor". I wish I would have ran across a Kimber with the "Internal Extractor", I would have really liked to see one of those. Good luck!

I am a "HUGE" Glock fan. I have two, a Glock 22, which is my favorite pistol of all so far, and a Glock 27, both 40 S&W. I took a "pease officer" training course back in 2000. On the firing range part of the course you needed a 70 to pass. My first time through I shot a 92 and the second time through I shot a 98. I have never had any previous training. I paid attention to the instructor and used my Glock 22. He wanted me to use my Beretta 92FS. Because he's a Beretta fan. I shot my Beretta like crap and couldn't get use to the grip angle. It wasn't the guns fault, it just didn't fit me, I should never have bought it. Again, it wasn't a quality issue, it was a fitment issue! I actually like the trigger on the Glock's. Mine are the standard 5.5 pound trigger. After 50 or so rounds through them the trigger safety does seem to "bite" my finger a little, not that bad though. Very few people I have talked to have had this problem. The 45 ACP and 10mm Glock's have a thicker grip, actually the whole pistol is thicker. I prefer the thickness of the 9mm, 357 Sig and 40 S&W Glock's that just me.

The best advise I can give anyone about buying a pistol, is to look, hold and possibly shoot as many different pistols you can. You may hate all Glock's and that fine, but check out as many pistols as you can!
