New hunting knife

I am looking to buy a new hunting knife but haven't bought a new knife in about 15 years. Looking for a knife to be used for hunting-elk/moose/bear/deer. whats the best bang for the buck. Needs to hold a good edge.Looking for fixed blade and would like to stay around the 100 price range...  thanks

Buck Vanguard, 4 " blade comes with or without guthook. Costs around 50 bucks (no pun). I have had one for years and only use it to clean deer and hogs. Holds an edge great. By great I mean I can easily skin and butcher an animal all by myself and the edge is almost the same razor sharp as when I started. I keep a cold steel drop point 4" blade folder for anything else.

I don't know what length you're after but I like my Buck Special.  It's a little bigger than some folks like but has a really good feel and also holds an edge.

Buck offers two choices of handles on this knife.  I went with the wood (it was about 20 more I think) and am really impressed with their quality.

I think out the door it was around 70 dollars.
