Hi Frank,
Ya ougta check the GunsAmerica site if ye wanter see some 85's and 78's fer sale.  Even a couple on there in my favorite, the .243 W.  There was a '78 in a .25-06 for $550.  'Twernt new now mind ye, but I do believe that was the price they were askin'.
It does seem like sometimes we're always on the wrong side of the fence.
When I was seriously lookin' for a low wall .243 there were none available for months that I could find cep'n the one OT found up there.  Now look at 'em.  Guns are sorta like wimmen, ye set yer sights on a particular model and they can be mighty scarce, but then onct ye decide ye can git along without one, they'll be crawlin' out o' the woodwork.
Shew, I gotta get back to bed, hits tooo early in the mornin' fer me.
