kombi,Thanks for the compliment.The stock is the original M48 stock which I shortened myself.It's just like it originally was only shorter.The only thing not original is the ramp front sight.
Fred at Gun Shop.biz has done two of these so far.The other one which he did for a friend of mine has a scope on it.Very accurate.
The trick to obtaining good results on a conversion such as this is to use the BEST specimen you can get,not a beater.
I use Remington Green Box 180 grain loads for hunting.
