I recently purchased a used Lyman 450 lubricator/sizer (orange), and promptly ordered sizers for it. Unfortunately the sizer appears that it is not meant for this particular press (even though the container states it was).
It took a couple of minutes of staring before I decided how the parts should fit together, and hopefully I've got it right. I attempted to place the sizer die into the press, chamfered side up (O ring side down), but it appears that the sizer body is too long to properly fit into the hole meant for it. There's a shoulder about 2/3 of the way down the hole in the press body where the sizer hits, not allowing it to sit completely into the press.
If anyone could give me some hints/ideas, I'd be grateful!
Thanks,
Art
