Need the lowdown on these. I have found a new 20ga. for $217.00. Are these guns worth it . The price seems to good to be true. Are they the same gun as the reg. Wingmaster but with plain wood and a lesser finish?

Pretty much the same gun mechanically. Wingmasters are definitely smoother in function and fit.

Keep the finish oiled well. A lot of people use them with good success.

P-Bark, the price on the Express is a tad under the going rate around here. I have an Express combo in 12 gauge that I really like (looks and function) and it is like the proverbial old Timex watch. If I can rustle up the coin for a  bigger gun safe, I'd like to get a 16 and/or 20 to keep the 12 company.
Even though the Wingmaster is a "nicer" gun with bluing and walnut and possibly some additional finshing of the mechanical internals, I have grown attached to my Express and see no reason to upgrade. My advice is get the one you like, you won't go wrong either way. If you are on a budget, you're not being shortchanged by getting an Express.
