I realized that when current transactions complete, I will have 3 doubles of calibers in Handis. Ie, a pair of 45 colts, etc. It is silly, but I don't want to take on new calibers either. Solution seems to be to get a cool, weird, different older model. Was looking at a Savage 219 with a 30-30 and 20 gauge barrel at the local shop, but I'd like to stick with H&R.
Between all the various 15x and Shikari models, what are the pluses and minuses? Is a mannlicher stock just extra weight. or is there a functional pupose?
I think that I like scopes BTW. Irons sights max out around 50 yards for me.
