Boar Hunter Magazine (BHM) any good?

I have visited the website and wondered if they are more canine hunting oriented. I have nothing agianst dog hunting except that I have no dogs to hunt with or the money to do it. Is BHM worth it for a non dog hunter?
BTW, The magazine subsription is $15 per year (6 issues). I have e-mailed them and am awaiting a reply. I thought maybe some of you guys knew about'em already.

I've thought of getting a subscription, but as of yet, NOT. I have been buying it off the rack, and have got some very useful tips from the articles.

It's a pretty good mag either way- it's pretty well divided between gun, dog, and bow. I have a subscription, and I like the way that it shows up about the time you forget you have it

Unlike Howie and BuzzTail I am not renewing my subscription. I takes less than 30 minutes to read cover to cover because they just don't have enough folks writing articles for them. It is just an Ok rag IMHO.

My subscription was so good the US Postal Service only delivered the covers. I complained but it kept happening. I decided to buy it on the news stand. Now nobody carries it. Now that we have a huntable population starting in Wisconsin, I re-subscribed, today.

I like it. Have every issue since the first. Love hog huntin', matter of fact we are heading back to south Texas, next Feb. for some hog/javelina blasting.

Looked it over back when it first came out. Didn't care much for it. They seem to have mostly dog stories. I don't care for hunting with dogs personally. I submitted an article when they printed but never got paid as I was supposed to. They asked me to submit articles monthly but after not getting paid for the first didn't bother with anymore. Dunno what they do these days.
To me it seemed like a pretty rinky dink outfit back then.
