There's some good basic info in those links, however, in regards to the snaring, on page 56 of the orig manual... page 6 of the PDF file, there's some very bad advice there about using jump poles over snares for deer.  This advice was translated and offered to Michigan snareman 3 years ago in their MI Snaring Manual which equated to major problems with deer/snare encounters... if you know what I mean.  There's a few others things there I don't agree with, but we'll chalk that up to "personal preference".
