What are the hunting plans this fall?
« on: February 06, 2003, 06:16:45 PM »
I know I hope to do the following:

I put in for Mule deer in Montana, I normally get drawn every other year there, so this should be the year.

I am also going to put in for Antelope in Montana this fall, didn't get that tag last year, so hope to this fall.

I will also be hunting for Mule deer and Elk in Idaho, although I am having a tough time locating a prime (read, no people) area in Idaho.

My dream year would be two mule deer, one elk and one antelope.  It's never happened yet, but you never know.

What are ya'all's plans?

Tom

Tom

...everything else is inconsequential.   I live the rest of the year and go to work every day 52 weeks a year for 1 & 1/2 weeks that I get to hunt Elk.  My freezer is full, Praise the lord, Thank You Father.  I try to appease my adiction with Turkeys, pheasants grouse and deer till my Elk hunt.  That's all that matters........Women come and go, I can always replace a guitar, but   Elk hunting is holy.
....make it count

:gun4: I'm got my Wyoming elk application in. I may try for bear in Minnesota. Antelope and deer in Wyoming are still a possiblity. Coues deer in Arizona would be fun. I 've got a stack of elk preference in Colarado but I don't know where to use them. :gun4:

I also sent in my Wyoming elk registration. Wyoming muledeer will be too.
I'd like to shoot a pig somewhere. Then there is Minnesota whitetails, grouse, squirrels, and coons.  Think I might try a few pheasants at a game farm too.
