Cabela's Uberti Cattleman
« on: February 18, 2003, 07:29:06 AM »
It looks like Cabelas has the Uberti Cattleman for sale again after the last bunch sold out fast! They show 3 different barrel lengths, mine being the 5.5in. The price now is $199 which i feel is a bargain. This is one stout little gun! Fit + finish is excellent. Just this morn. i checked mine for group after grinding the front sight for the second time since i had it. Mine was shooting bout 6in low! Now i just shot a 1.5in group right at the very top of 2in bull at 20yrds.That was sitting in chair resting wrist across knee. This gun handles awsome so if you like the Peacemaker look you'll love this gun..i do. And to think i got mine when they went for just $159 !

Is this the copy of the 1873 Peacemaker in cap and ball? That is a nice looking pistol. Thanks for the report.
Aim small don't miss.

Ya simonkenton this is the Colt clone. I think it just replaced my '58 new army as my favorite cap + ball. As far as i can tell this gun is the same as their cartridge gun except for the cylinder + hammer Git one..you wont be sorry!
