I'll bite. Depending on the load levels you use, it could be a function of the thin, weak Hornet brass. Hot loads can expand the cases to a very tight fit in the chamber, and if the chamber is not perfectly concentric this may result in the loaded case being "cocked" in the chamber unless it is inserted at exactly the same orientation used for the last shot with that case. "Indexed" cases often shoot better in T/Cs and this is one reason why.
Or, it could be a different characteristic of your particular barrel, dies and load. My suggestion is to full length resize your cases. :wink:
