Hi do you have a shotgun. IF so pattern it with some turkey loads @ 30 to 40 yrds. See how it patterns it mite better good. I have 2 shotguns JUST for turkey hunting. It is hard to tell what is the best gun. Do you want a pump auto loader  over and under single shot? For the money the Mosburg is hard to beat and the 870 too and the BPS . Of the 3 guns with a custom choke and foring cone len. with Win hevi shot '6's the Mosburg done the best with BPS then the 870 in 3'rd place. Why the 835 patterns good because of the over size barrel like the BPS has been back boarded and that help it. The 870 isnt been done that way. That is why the 835 and BPS is out pattern it. I dont like the Browning Gold auto loaders seen to many jamm. Winchester took the same gun beef up the parts and didnt cut the magazine off like Browning did. And that stop the jamming SO you have the Win Super X 2 12ga. It has been back boarded with a custom choke . It throws one BAD patterned ! my turkey guns are!
Rem SP 10ga with a Simmon 2.5x32mm scope custom .675 choke.
Win Super X 2 12ga 3 1/2 with sights  Mossy Oak NWTF gun! CM choke.
12ga ammo Win Hevi shot 6's
10ga ammo Rem Hevi Shot '6 VM :D

Unless there is a good reason to stick with that 20 I'd just get a new gun.  You can kill turkeys with a 20 (or a .410 for that matter) but it's certainly a handicap.

If you're stuck with that gun I'd try different loads and chokes.  In reality that doesn't make as much difference as people think, but the best combination will help you out some.

Hi try diff. name brand shells try sights . See what works the best . And if you cant get it to pattern right. Look around I have use a Browning youth 20ga BPS with a custom choke and Rem Hevi Shot '6's. that little gun patterns good. I have killed some good birds with a 20ga. VM :-D
