Went camping in the Ochocco unit for fathers day weekend, had a great time with the family and got away from the office for a while.
A group of us went sage rat hunting during the heat of the day. Unfortunately I did not bring a .22 along for the trip. But lucky for me I took my G-19 and Sig p229!
My Sig in .357, I was worried about muzzle blast issues with my companions, so I straped up my Glock, about 200 rounds, and joined the group.
What a kick in the Butt! I think a few of the varments had a death wish, but I managed to knock a few of them off. Trying to hit one of those buggers at 20yrds was a little tuff! As soon as you put the sights on them, the rat dissappears!
Just a little note, to let you know, Glocks are not just for self defence!
They make great hunting pistols too!
Take it easy
