Questions about my Tech Force 25
« on: June 12, 2005, 07:46:38 PM »
Hi,

I have a Tech Force 25 right now and I am enjoying it very much.

I am looking to get it working even better as I have been hunting at ranges up to 80 yards now, and want to do all I can to improve my accuracy.

Where would I be best advised to invest the money to help my rifle? I currently have Tech Force 2 piece mounts, and a Tech Force air rifle scope. What would be decent priced alternatives for these and how much difference would they make?

Also I hear the trigger on my riffle is adjustable. How do I do this?

Thanks
-- Matthew

Do I understand you correct that you already have a Tech Force scope and mounts?

If so, for the bucks, really can't beat the scope.  You won't be shooting 300yds at dusk, so the optics work just fine.  The Techforce scope I have gives me a clear sharp picture - very happy.

However...... if you got a set of their cheap, pot metal,Chinese, cr*p scope mounts - don't even try to use them.  The quality is so bad, it takes your breath away.  The screw heads are so soft, they strip if you put any amount of torque on them.  Just find a trash can, and chuck em.

You can get decent mounts from numerous vendors - do yourself a favor and do it.
