History of the Handis?
« on: June 14, 2005, 09:13:22 AM »
Does anybody have a link or some information about the history of the Handi Rifle? All I can really find is that the action design dates back to the 1870's and it seems that most all of the older guns are shotguns. When did H&R start making rifles on this action? What were the early calibers?

So others here will chime in soon but here's what i know......
I think they started making rifles on the action back in the 70's. And some of the early calibers i know of are the 30-30, 22 hornet, 22 remington jet, but other than than that i don't know anything else.
