They have the long REAL bullets and the short REAL bullets.  The short should work.  If you get adequate accuracy with the long ones, so much the better.  I would use max powder though, and hope that the lead doesn't strip.

My experience has been that they work in some rifles and not in others as no 2 rifles are exactly the same. All you can do is try them and see... preferably on paper prior to a hacked off hogg first.
If you dont get good accuracy with the REAL then try a thompson style MAXI or a couple of other styles that may work.

My own experience has been in  that using the REAL, the "short" ones, or the ones with lighter weights, will work fine if the powder charge is reduced just a bit.
In other words, if you are shooting a round ball, using 90gr FFg, then a good starting place with the REAL would be around the 70/80 gr mark.

I seldom get desireable accuracy out the heavy for caliber REAL, unless I have a 1:48 or faster twist...and faster is better in this case, because you can increase the powder charge in the faster twists.  As long as you cast from soft lead, or buy REAL's cast from soft lead...to promote good "bump-up", or obturation,  your chances of leading, or "stripping" in the barrel are much less. Hard cast REAL's will nearly always strip, no matter what lube you choose. But then that too is not the end of the world if you're getting good accuracy.

Of course there is always an expection. I have read of these exceptions, but I have never actually seen them work.

Once you get something working with the REAL, I think you will like them.

I have one bullet mould a ideal mini ball mould, that a bullet that weighs 300 grain, that for some reason or another that shoot absolutely awesome off the bench  in my southern mountain rifle that weares a douglas 3 x rifle barrel and it don't like round balls,i also have been experamenting with those r.e.a.l. bullets from black jack hill nice bullets two they give good results toothey weigh 200 gr so i'm guessing they are the short ones???? I'm unfamilliar with the long reals , the ideal bullet is a bit shout shooting it with 80 grains powder thats the charge it shoots the r.e.a.l seems to prefer 65 grains both are using goex. bb75

I believe it was pretty common when "loading for bear" in the old days to load two balls. Might be surprised how close together they will hit.

I have had good accuracy with the REAL bullets in 50Cal in my underhammer, with 1:66" twist. For me, the trick was to put a 50cal Wonder Wad over the powder, under the bullet.
