I rented mine from reamerentals. jbtazzgraber I think had a 444 marlin reamer that he used to make a 445 but after checking the demensions of the 444 cartridge I decided to go with the 445 reamer.

Hey jeff if your lookin in to doin this to your 44 barrel i'd be willing to go in half and buy one. I've been wantin to do it to mine for some time now but i never have the time to get it done. Maybe we can get a few other people to go in and buy one.

that might be the way to go for a reamer.we could buy one and it would pay for it self.im willing if we can get a few to go in on the deal.leftoverdj bought a 357max reamer some time ago and it rechambered alot of barrels, mine included.

this 44mag to 445sm would be a simple rechamber too.you would need a tee handle and some cutting oil and a few turns by hand and you would be done.i cant wait to rechamber a hand cannon barrel

so what do you guys think?if we got 6 or 7 guys to go in on a reamer it wouldnt cost us much to rechamber.i have not checked out a price on a reamer for a time but i think one can be had for around $120.00 or so.that would cost us $20.00 pluss shipping to the next gut or less.it would be a group buy so to say like the Lee boolit mold deal im heading
