i've got some brass i need to anneal, whats the easiest way?

Deprime, stand them up in a pan of water so only the neck is above the water line. Play the flame of a propane torch on the neck until it get's cherry red and immediately knock them over to quench. Easy as that!

I bought an annealing kit made by Hornady and it works great.
