Opinions on a Burris Compact

I am buying a Burris Compact 3-9x32AO to mount on my 7mm TCU carbine.  Does anyone have any experience with the Burris compact scopes?  How do they compare with the Fullfield and Signature scopes?

I looked at them in the store and thought wow, nice little scope. Pulled it up and went wow nice little DARK scope, compared it with a Nikon Prostaff and was amazed at the difference, the Nikon was much brighter. I bought the Nikon.

I've used 2 4x burris compacts and a 6x burris compact but not the variables. If you absoutly must have the smallest lightest scope available they are a good choice. If you can live with a slightly larger scope you can find much better optics. Regards, Byron

I was neutral on Burris until I contacted their customer service.  Based on that experience I will never purchase a Burris product.
