early deer season
« on: June 20, 2005, 03:35:05 PM »
I bought a new Jeep liberty 2005 6 weeks ago tomorrow. I went to my buddies camp on Saturday evening to sit around and shoot the breeze and enjoy the nice breeze off the lake.  Anyway on the way home about 9 pm and just ahead of me a doe ran into the road and crossed. Well she turned and went back in front of me to keep her fawns from crossing. I clipped her almost head on at about 20 miles an hour.  She got up and ran with no apparent damage I could see.  Well I went to get an estimate today and it was just under 4 grand.  I paid the first payment on Friday and whacked her on Saturday. I think I will call Chrysler and say I am not making any more payments if this is going to happen every month

Apparently you didn't hit it in the kill zone...You'll have to work on that.  Sorry to hear about your new SUV.  :?

I was just as glad not to kill her right now. She had 2 fawns that prolly would not have made it
