.204 Ruger Ammo boxes
« on: August 09, 2007, 03:39:26 AM »
Hello everyone-
Has anyone noticed the .204 won't fit in a .223 plastic ammo box? I found a very nice box (with real hinges) at Dicks Sporting Goods store. It's made by Plano Molding Co. They had only two of them and weren't to get anymore. I called Plano (1-800-226-9868) Model 1211, and was able to order direct from them. At about half price compared to Dicks I ordered 10 of them.
Hope this helps a few folks out.
Happy shooting fellers---

I do not have a 204, but they also work for the 223 and 222 very well, which I have. I would imagine they would work for the 222 mag as well. I really like that box because of the hinged lid. When I flip it open it stays open and you do not have to worry about them breaking off after awhile. They just seem to better built, thicker side walls. They are my preferred choice for those cartridges. ;D
